The awesome Hog & Apple are handing over the food reigns of SOL AST for the last couple of weeks. It's big shoes to fill but we've got some exciting stuff for you to try.

Location: SOL AST - Grounds of Principal Hotel, York.

Open times: 11:45 - 20:30, Wednesday - Sunday, 9th - 20th September.

BURGERS

Our burgers are all about the beef - no gimmicks, with little else to distract your from the beefy goodness. They're inspired by the best burgers I've ever tried at Bleeker. We grind our own mince patties here everyday from chuck, brisket and dry aged rib meat and serve them in fresh Haxby burger buns. Our patties are cooked to order and served pink because they taste way better that way.

FRIES

Our fries are cut here each morning by us and twice fried to order. If you've had them at our Scandi Sausage stall on the side of Thor’s Tipi, you’ll know what to expect:

• Plain Fries £3
• Loaded Fries - beef barbacoa, American cheese £7

TACOS

A huge hit on our wedding menu. Served on 10cm GF corn tacos.

£2.50 each. We recommend having 3 - 4:

• Fried cod with mildly pickled cabbage and aioli.
• Pork pibil with pineapple salsa
• Lamb barbacoa
• Squash with mildly pickled cabbage vegan aioli (Ve)

To order, please come up to the food stall and we’ll give you a buzzer to let you know when your food’s ready.
